A MODULAR SYSTEM FOR COLLABORATION

This investigation explores the potential for a co-located collaborative work space. The project explores an interactive and networked work space in which functional objects can have multiple uses promoting flexibility.

The work space prototype is comprised of a multi-use interactive table and a multi-use divider. The table and diver operate together as a system, supporting task-oriented sharing. The investigation explores how smart objects might respond to individual and group gestures as users move through the collaborative process — brainstorming, decision-making, iteration, and review
